The quest rewards are Chapter 15- Strange (2)

There is only one continent called “Mu” in my dream where I am working hard to complete my quest, and the continent can be divided into other three subcontinents: “Highland,” “Midland,” and “Eveland.”

Highland is a region without humans where dragons, elves, dwarves, and halves, and other similar races live in nature.

Midlands is a region composed of mostly humans where 12 countries keep each other in check and the war never stops.

As the ominous name suggests, Eveland is home to a variety of monsters, including demon kings, and spread throughout the rest of the Mu continent.

Highland, Midland, and Eveland are separated by the Great Canyon and the Desert of the Dead, making it very difficult to get in and out of each other’s territory.

Thus, the continent is one, but most people see these three areas as separate subcontinents.

One surprising fact is that the strongest of the three areas is neither the Highlands, nor the Eveland, but the Midlands is ruled by humans.

In this worldview, it is common for humans to be a neighbor that could be easily squashed, but it was amazing that they had stronger power than two areas, against dragons and demons.

However, the reason why Midland is stronger than the two continents is nothing special.

It was because of the existence of a map and divine power.

The Dragon of Highland was so powerful that they don’t differ from the title of strongest on Earth.

How can one say that a dragon’s power is second only to a nation?

However, there are only four dragons left, and the number of similar tribes has steadily decreased, less than 1/10000 compared to Midland’s population.

The Undead Legion of Eveland also boasts a considerable number and power but has not been able to exert itself in the face of the divine power of the deeply rooted human civilization.

This was a piece of good news, so humans are the central force of the Mu continent, and it could be considered that humans took the number one place due to the decline of Highland and the weakness of Eveland.

By no means, Midland wasn’t weak.

“I’m bored.”

I’m going to hunt as usual, but now I’m explaining my dream worldview out of the blue.

Because of this ridiculous quest.

[Quest Occurred]

Rating: E

Content: Increase your understanding of the Mu continent.

Rewards: Lower Rewards Cards, Combat Assistance

Since I was young, I have been good at studying that I can answer write it as one of my specialties, but I am not crazy enough to want to study even in my dreams.

Thanks to this, I’m now reading a book called “The Geographical History of the Mu Continent,” which I bought at a bookstore with a big frown on my forehead.

At first, I started with the feeling of reading a novel, but I don’t think a book called Geography would be interesting.

There has been no sense of pleasure while reading. It was like mechanically hammering information about the Mu continent into my head.

Is the existence of God completely trying to settle me in this world?

This was a really depressing quest.

“By the way, to what extent do I have to understand to end this quest?”

I think the contents of the quest are too vague.

“The territory of the village of Karas belongs to Count Adrian. It has the largest granary in the Kingdom of Kaelon, and it is a highly developed territory of commerce.”

I don’t know if I still need to memorize all the noble families in Midland.

[Quest completed successfully]

[You have acquired combat assistance skill as a reward]

[Quest completed using wisdom]

[intelligence increases by 1.]

[Persistent patience]

[Stamina Increases by 1.]

Still, the system had a conscience, the quest have been completed within a day.

I stretched myself up covering the “History of the Mu Continent” book that I read following the thick Geographical history of the Mu continent.

My abilities are increasing steadily, but now I possess quite a lot of skills.

Combat assistance skill is passive, so I think I have to hunt to find out what they are for.

I hope it’s not just a name-sounding skill like intuition.

Perhaps simply because of lack of level, “Intuition LV1” was hard to feel its different from usual.

It is highly likely that when it levels up, it will change. But I prefer more skills that can be used right away.

“Oh, it’s over without an extra quest?”

Lying in bed just in case, I felt like I was waking up from the dream as if this was enough for today.

This was boring, but I think today was the easiest quest.

***

After completing the quest and gaining 2 strength stats from the reward card, I hummed pleasantly and looked at the news on the Internet when I found a noticeable article.

[Development of new materials on T-chemical semiconductor]

[Will it be an opportunity to overcome its difficult business situations?]

It was a welcome article that reminded me of what I had forgotten because I was worried about it will trouble me.

I checked T chemistry’s current stock price and clenched my fist when I saw it rise from 9,200 won to 14,000 won.

An increase of more than 50 percent.

***

Math made simple:

Jihoon investment increased 50% because only half of 9,200 to the current stock. It will only double it increases by 100%

Just saying because many people confused themselves up regarding the 50% increase but the amount didn’t double up when investing and doing stock.

About 200 million investments have increased to 300 million won.

Many people still don’t trust news articles, but overall, they were clearly on the rise.

“Good, good.”

Today feels good from the start in many ways.

Thanks to this, I took the billiard stick that I bought for 10,000 won to practice swinging and headed to Kkachisan Park like a habit.

However, as I was moving forward pleasantly, I remembered today’s forgotten schedule and fixed myself up.

In other words, an interview was scheduled at 1 p.m. today.

Before I went to and from the Mu continent with my dream, my biggest hurdle was to get a job, but honestly, I started to think that it didn’t matter what happened to me anymore these days.

It’s inevitable with just dreaming, I can get a big profit in real life, so I wonder if I need to stick to this mediocrity.

Moreover, as many crises lurk in dreams, it is hard to know how this crisis will work in reality.

‘What if I’m killed in my dreams?’
This was my biggest concern and pressure from the dream.

Thanks to this, even if I suddenly die, I have left a suicide note in the room, a suicide note for my parents, so that they can cash out the money I put in the stock.

This brings bad luck and ominous, but my reality was that I had no choice but to prepare for it.

I’ve been fascinated by the quest reward, but this was obviously an abnormal situation far from normal.

“Let’s not think anything useless.”

After a while, arriving at Kkachisan, I disappeared in the dark wood and faced a big stone.

Then, I used the billiards stick and practiced stabbing so that can get used to it with my body.

“Let’s have attended the interview today.”

But if I fail this interview, I think it’s fate that I’m not applying for a job anymore.

After all, it would be nice to get out of the hell of employment and live as I please.

Sooner or later, I will have enough capital to enjoy my life.

So, how long I have been practicing the spear?

Suddenly, I felt unpleasant at the back of my neck, I stopped and looked around.

“…….”

And facing an unexpected landscape, I was in an awkward position.

“What’s this.”

Before I knew it, there was a thick fog all over the place with a visibility of less than 1 meter.

I didn’t notice it because I was thinking about something else for a while, but it doesn’t make sense that I didn’t notice anything wrong until it was so foggy.

Furthermore, at the end of the billiard, there was that the big stone, which I had been using as an opponent until now, was not covered by fog, so I had no choice but to think that the surroundings were strange.

Odd beyond description.

If this reality was in a cartoon or movie, it seemed like a ghost would pop out at any moment.

I want to get out of here as soon as possible, but it was hard to tell which direction is the exit, so it was uncomfortable to move around.

I wish I could use a map function like in the dream.

It was then.

-Plop!

[The map function unfolds]

The interface that was not initially available in real life somehow worked now.

[Sadang-dong Kkachisan Mountain Park]

The map accurately marked my current location.

“What?”

Thanks to this, I had to put on a dumb face.

Facing this confusion, I stood still for a moment and organized my thoughts.

My initial investigation about my dream resulted in far more complicated things.

The fog made the surrounding environment look like a Mu continent, but there was no reason why this situation happened.

Is this a God’s whim?

What the hell does that want from me?

[Kaelon Kingdom ID]

Name: Jihoon

Gender: Man

Class: Human

Date of birth: 25 May 1076.

Place of birth: Royal Decree of Cardia.

Criminal history: None

[+]

ID, skills, skill windows and etc… All unfolded without fail.

The map clearly marks the current location as a Kkachisan mountain, but I felt that the land I stood now was not Seoul.

And then there’s was a monster running towards the end quickly.

A crude dagger suddenly appeared in front of my eyes with a familiar roar of phlegm boiling.

Frightened by him, I rolled back and swung the billiard sideways, using a mana emission to the billiard stick.

Bam! Bawwwam!

-Kkk!

The billiard stick, which hit something hard, broke mercilessly, and at the same time, the fog began to clear.

Sizzling!

There’s noise in the map function that I left open.

Soon the fog shrunk and disappeared.

And just as if the fog that covered everywhere was a lie, the usual scenery was now visible.

Chirp chirp.

The idle chirping of sparrows.

In the peaceful day of Kkachisan Park, I looked at the blue blood buried in the broken billiard stick with a firm expression.
